Cracker Barrel Old Country Shop, Inc, a restaurant chain located in Tennessee targeting at cross-border tourists, is concentrating at least two Buffalo locations for access to the western market in New York.

The chain will be taken over by the American Sports Bar and Grille on March 2. The restaurant building is physically linked by an enclosed hallway to the Ramada Inn on Transit, but is no longer operated by the hotel.

At the end of January the hotel was sold to Buffalo Realty Company Inc. for $1,5 million by Innovative enterprises, which manages and runs the Ramada Renaissance Hotel across the street from the Greater Buffalo International Airport.

Dynamic Ventures already operates a 10000 square feet hotel, but Cracker Barrel Inc. is expected to buy the property in the near future and open the way for the full refurbishment of the restaurant.

Cracker Barrel is also said to be watching for a nearby outlet in Blasdell, just off the Thruway at Exit 56.
